Late Legend C. Alvares classic Tiatr ‘Dudvankar Zatoloi’ was staged by TAG

Tiatr stage produced numerous tiatr personalities in the past. These pioneers of tiatr are no more with us. However, their contribution to the Goan tiatr has been immense. In order to make our younger generation aware of their invaluable contribution and sacrifices, TAG provides financial support to troupes/ institutions/ individuals who intend to produce special dedicated programmes on the lives and work of such artistes or a programme of the tiatrs staged and songs rendered by those artistes in the past.

Under this scheme Late Legend C. Alvares classic Tiatr ‘Dudvankar Zatoloi’ was staged to remember C Alvares.

The tiatr “Dudvankar Zatoloi” written by late C Alvares and directed by Capucina Alvares was staged on 4th November 2023 at Mae De Deus Church Compound, Saligao at 7.00 pm. On 5th November 2023 at Regina Martyrm Hall, Assolna at 7.30 pm and 6th November 2023 at Ravindra Bhavan,Curchorem Goa at 7.00 pm. The programme was co-ordinated by Vijaya Tari, Cultural Organiser of TAG.

The large number of audience took benefit of the tiatr.
