Vidya bhuvan Konkani Shall,Margao & G.H. S. Ambaulim Quepem wins
TAG’s All Goa Inter-school Choreography dance Competition on the recorded Konkani Songs on Patriotism/National Integration/Communal Harmony

In order to inculcate values of patriotism/national integration/communal harmony in our children, every year Tiatr Academy of Goa organizes All Goa Inter-School Choreographic Dance Competition of Dance on the recorded Konkani Songs on Patriotism/National Integration/Communal Harmony. This year the competition was held in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda in two categories i.e (1) Std. I – IV and (2) Std. V – X on Saturday, 25 th August 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda.

Tag’s President Shri. Sagun R. Velip welcomed the gathering. Hon. MLA of Sanvordem Shri. Ganesh Gaonkar was the Chief Guest and gave away the Prizes, Smt.Swati Dalvi, Member Secretary of Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda was also present for the function. Shri.Suresh Divkar, Member Secretary of Tiatr Academy gave the Vote of Thanks.

Renowned dance choreographers, Shri. Saish Naik and Smt. Pratika Marathe Judged the competition. Along with cash prizes, mementos and certificates were awarded to the winners. The Programme was compered by Shri. Socorro Fernandes . The event was coordinated by Smt.Uprita Asolkar. The competition was witnessed by a jam packed audience.

The following are the winners:
Std. Ist – IVth Category:
1st Prize:  Vidyabhuvaan Konkani Shalla, Margao
(Cash Prize – Rs. 5000/- plus memento and certificate).
2nd Prize: Sarvodaya Educational Society’s Primary School, Curchorem (Cash Prize – Rs. 3000/- plus memento and certificate).
3rd Prize : Our Lady of Perpetual Soccour Connvent Primary School,Curchorem 
(Cash Prize – Rs. 2000/- plus memento and certificate).
Best Choreographer: Mrs. Siddhi Dessai of Vidyabhuvan Konkani Shall, Margao (Cash Prize – Rs. 2000/- plus memento and certificate).

Std. Vth – Xth Category:
1st Prize: G.H.S. Ambaulim Quepem
(Cash Prize – Rs. 7000/- plus memento and certificate).
2nd Prize: Don Bosco High School, Panaji
(Cash Prize – Rs.5000/- plus memento and certificate).
3rd Prize: G.S.Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa
(Cash Prize – Rs. 3000/- plus memento and certificate).
Best Choreographer:Mukund M. Katagar of G.H.S. Ambaulim Quepem (Cash Prize – Rs. 2000/- plus memento and certificate).
