TAG released 5 Books of Tiatr/Khell-Tiatr

Tiatr Academy of Goa under its scheme ‘Preservation of Tiatr Literature’ organized books release function on 21st June 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Conference Hall of Tiatr Academy of Goa, Campal Trade Centre, Campal, Panjim in which 5 books namely ‘Devan Ghoddlem Mon’xan Moddlem’ (Tiatr), ‘Soccorina’ (Khell-Tiatr) written by Menino Fernandes alias Menino de Bandar, ‘Mhoji Maim Mhoji Dusman’ (Tiatr), ‘Hie Chukik Bhogsonnem Asa?’ (Khell-Tiatr) written by Mario Menezes and ‘Desache Nagrik Ami’ (Two Tiatrs) written by late Fr. Nevel L. S. Gracias were released at the hands of Chief Guest Dr. Andre Rafael Fernandes, retired Professor, H.O.D (Department of English). Speaking on the occasion Dr. Rafael appreciated the efforts of the authors and TAG and suggested including more details in the book like the cast, photos and details of performances, handbills, blog, website, youtube links, etc in order to make it easier for the readers.

Mr. Tomazinho Cardozo spoke on the books ‘Devan Ghoddlem Mon’xan Moddlem’, ‘Soccorina’ and ‘Desache Nagrik Ami’ while Mr. Fausto V. Da Costa expressed his opinion on the books ‘Mhoji Maim Mhoji Dusman’ and ‘Hie Chukik Bhogsonnem Asa?’.

Menino Fernandes, President of TAG welcomed the audience and Mario Menezes Vice President of TAG proposed the vote of thanks. The function was compered by Socorro de St. Cruz.
